Built across the historical northern borders of China, this 'wonder of the world' stretches over 21,000km. The wall is quickly becoming shorter due to natural erosion, and human activity, leaving many parts unrecognisable.

Like many world heritage sites, this Great Wall will inevitably become inaccessible to the public. The sooner you visit the world's largest man-made structure, the more freedom you will have while doing so.
