OUR FEBRUARY SUPERSTAR IS TOM BRADY
Today, Tom Brady became the first quarterback in history to win five Super Bowls. His New England Patriots pulled off the best comeback ever in a Super Bowl, to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28. Previous to today, no team had ever comeback from being more than 10 points down to win. Shortly after halftime, the Falcons were leading 28-3 and seemed to be unbeatable. With only 2 minutes to go before the end of the 3rd quarter, the Patriots' amazing resurgence began with a touchdown. From that moment, all of the momentum was with Tom Brady and his team, who were able to score 25 unanswered points to level the game up at 28-28, at the final buzzer. Never in the history of the Super Bowl had there been the need for extra time, but today was a day of firsts. The Patriots quickly scored a sudden-death touchdown, and it was over. What an amazing game! The absolute best game of NFL that I have ever seen. In Brady's 15 seasons as a starter, he has quarterbacked the Patriots to seven Super Bowl appearances, the most for any player in history. He turns 40 this year.
